Maintenance Job Summary: Responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing all plant equipment assigned to him/her. Employee must follow a systematic process for accomplishing preventive, scheduled and emergency equipment maintenance. Employee must be knowledgeable of industrial electricity (all phases and voltages), mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic operations, troubleshooting techniques, blueprint, schematic analysis and proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and needs to be willing to learn new tasks as needed. Paint Employee is responsible for the painting of product to produce a quality end product. Other duties include cleaning and maintaining of paint booth and equipment. PRODUCTION HOURS 7 AM-3:30 PM Job Responsibilities: • Set up, clean and maintain paint equipment with emphasis on paint guns assuring proper performance. • Pull correct product and move into paint booth. • Inspect product prior to painting to ensure all sharp edges, BBs are removed and welds are acceptable. o Use of hand tools for removal of BBs and sharp edges. • Paint with air assisted airless paint system assuring 100% coverage with no runs. • Clean and maintain paint booth and spray equipment using solvent and brush. • Assist with prep work as needed. • Will maintain a daily paint log. *This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above* Tool/Machine/Technology Requirements: • Fork truck operation • May have to use hoist to assist in painting of product. Parts Sales Specialist-OPEN POSITION Assisting customers in determining what Vestil products they have and what replacement parts they need. Work through product issues with customers in a friendly and positive manner and able to communicate this over the phone and through email. Aluminum Welder-accepting applications, scheduling interviews and weld tests • Welding of steel or aluminum - pipe/tubing/aluminum tread plate • Use of hand tools – Levels, squares, wrenches, wire cutters • Must be able to trouble shoot issues with welding machines • Must be able to switch wires and gas tanks for welding machines • Must be able to change liners in welding guns • Must remove BB’s and sharp edges from finished product using hand tools o Sander, die grinder or cut off wheel • Use tape measure accurately • Receive and be able to understand product print to allow fabrication of product • Break down damaged product using cutting torches or cutting wheels • Use hoist, slings and chains • Occasionally take inventory of material *This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above* Tool/Machine/Technology Requirements: • Fork truck operation – when material handler is not available PRODUCTION HOURS: 7 AM-3:30 PM Job Requirements: • Basic computer and math skills • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis • Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English • See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally) • Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks in the hours provided • Must be self-motivated as much of the day is unsupervised • This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours • Must be 18 years of age or older 4/15/18
Welder-accepting applications, scheduling interviews and weld tests PRODUCTION HOURS 7-3:30 Responsible for fabrication of product by welding together the correct pieces to produce finished product. Job Responsibilities: • Must be knowledgeable of all parts used for the assembly of products • Will need to verify parts to print • Must be able to read blueprints • Build units by welding to quality specifications o Making sure of squaring, levelness and plumb • Must remove BB’s and sharp edges from finished product using hand tools o Sander, putty knifes, chisel and hammer • Inspect finish products against engineering specifications • Will need to use hand tools throughout production • Accurate use of a tape measure • Must notify supervisor/lead person for final inspection • Will need to know how to use magnetic hoist to move product • Fork truck operation These are not the only duties performed by the Welder. Manufacturing Supervisor-accepting resumes Supervisors are the leaders of their department. They are expected to maintain a professional, team oriented, safe and efficient work place. Supervisors work with the Human Resources department to make staffing recommendations, coaching and perform disciplinary action as required. They will work closely with the Plant Manager to produce quality products and complete orders on time. Supervisors are responsible for their department's scheduling, reporting and forecasting. Qualifications: Proven leadership skills to direct employees toward production goals. Strong problem solving/resolution skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to learn and navigate Vestil-specific applications. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and efficiency. High School degree and 3-5 years of supervisory experience is required.
