Power Unit Assembly Employee must pull required parts from inventory. Assemble pulled parts and install on to unit. Test unit to ensure finished product is working according to specifications. Once completed, employee will then sign off and send to packaging for shipping. In performing these responsibilities, employees are to work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement. PRODUCTION HOURS 7-3:30 Responsibilities / Tasks • Product knowledge • Must be able to read electrical diagrams • Must be knowledgeable in troubleshooting product • Electrical and Hydraulic installation o Use of basic hand tools • Will use a volt meter to diagnosis problems • Must have knowledge in electrical circuits • Limited computer work – look up parts • Off site work if needed • Fork truck driving – sit down, walk behind and stand up • Use drill press and roll saw to correct dimensions of material used in the assembly of product • Final assembly o Use of basic hand tools and air tools • Test completed unit to ensure product is working according to specifications • Complete quality checklist and turn into supervisor • Must have good math skills • Communicate with co-works and problems or concerns • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day. • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English • See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally, and in certain instances, it is also necessary to discern different colors, primarily red, yellow and green) • Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks Within the hours provided • Must be self motivated as much of the day is unsupervised • This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours. • Must be 18 years of age or older. 6/14/17
General Machinist Job Summary: Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools to produce, repair or modify parts, instruments, and finished products. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. In performing these responsibilities, employees are to work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement. PRODUCTION HOURS: 7-3:30 Responsibilities • Product knowledge • Use of calipers, micrometers and boroscopes for part inspection • Fork truck operation • Hoist operation • Read blueprints • Machine setup – moving fixtures in and out of machines using hand tools. • Operate drill press • Operate lathe • Operate mill • Deburring of parts using a deburring knife, hand grinder or buffer • Responsible for inspection of finished product • Must be able to troubleshoot when errors occur using blue prints • Basic Computer knowledge o Able to scan parts and correct any scanning errors • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day. • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English • See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally) • Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks Within the hours provided • This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours. • May require occasional overtime hours. • Must be 18 years of age or older. General Maintenance An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and needs to be willing to learn new tasks as needed. Responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing all plant equipment assigned to him/her. Employee must follow a systematic process for accomplishing preventive, scheduled and emergency equipment maintenance. Employee must be knowledgeable of industrial electricity (all phases and voltages), mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic operations, troubleshooting techniques, blueprint, schematic analysis and proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment. Aluminum/Steel Welder Responsible for fabrication of product by welding together the correct pieces to produce finished product. In performing these responsibilities, employees are to work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement. PRODUCTION HOURS 7-3:30 Responsibilities / Tasks • Product knowledge • May need to retrieve material for welding if material handler is not available • Welding of steel or aluminum - pipe/tubing/aluminum tread plate • Use of hand tools – Levels, squares, wrenches, wire cutters • Must be able to trouble shoot issues with welding machines • Must be able to switch wires and gas tanks for welding machines • Must be able to change liners in welding guns • Must remove BB’s and sharp edges from finished product using hand tools o Sander, die grinder or cut off wheel • Use tape measure accurately • Receive and be able to understand product print to allow fabrication of product • Break down damaged product using cutting torches or cutting wheels • Use hoist, slings and chains • Fork truck operation – when material handler is not available • Occasionally take inventory of material • Basic computer skills • Must have good math skills • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day. • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English • See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally) • Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks Within the hours provided • Must be self motivated as much of the day is unsupervised • This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours • Must be 18 years of age or older.
