Welder PRODUCTION HOURS 7-3:30 Responsible for fabrication of product by welding together the correct pieces to produce finished product. Job Responsibilities: • Must be knowledgeable of all parts used for the assembly of products • Will need to verify parts to print • Must be able to read blueprints • Build units by welding to quality specifications o Making sure of squaring, levelness and plumb • Must remove BB’s and sharp edges from finished product using hand tools o Sander, putty knifes, chisel and hammer • Inspect finish products against engineering specifications • Will need to use hand tools throughout production • Accurate use of a tape measure • Must notify supervisor/lead person for final inspection • Will need to know how to use magnetic hoist to move product • Fork truck operation These are not the only duties performed by the Welder. Job Requirements: • Must have basic math skills • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day. • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English • See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally) • Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks Within the hours provided • Must be self motivated as much of the day is unsupervised • This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours. • Must be 18 years of age or older. 12/1/17
Manufacturing Supervisor Supervisors are the leaders of their department. They are expected to maintain a professional, team oriented, safe and efficient work place. Supervisors work with the Human Resources department to make staffing recommendations, coaching and perform disciplinary action as required. They will work closely with the Plant Manager to produce quality products and complete orders on time. Supervisors are responsible for their department's scheduling, reporting and forecasting. Qualifications: Proven leadership skills to direct employees toward production goals. Strong problem solving/resolution skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to learn and navigate Vestil-specific applications. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and efficiency. High School degree and 3-5 years of supervisory experience is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and required to wear appropriate PPE. 12/1/17
Mechanical Engineer 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering field, with 2+ years of experience. The job could include all or some of the following: designing new products, redesigning products for improvements, drafting and finalizing drawings, marketing materials (tech drawing and owner’s manuals), customer support, customer specific quotes & designs / drawing and facilitating all engineering aspects of customer specific orders. The job will also involve ECR’s (Engineering Change Requests) / product improvement, research & development and possible product management from concept to final product release. Candidates would need to be skilled in basic Windows programs including Excel, Word, etc. & need to be able to work in a 3-D modeling software, preferably Solidworks. Required: 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering field, with 2+ years of experience. Preferred: Solidworks software experience 12/1/17
Electrical Engineer Develop and administrate electrical power distribution and controls specifications, documentation, and labeling for electrical products and in-plant equipment. Provide technical support for all things electrical, including Codes and Standards. Job Responsibilities: • Develop and document appropriate electrical control schemes for Vestil products • Provide support for electrical troubleshooting (power and controls), theory, Code, and Standards issues for sales, engineering, maintenance, and facilities • Support Facilities and Maintenance personnel with electrical power distribution system documentation and labeling • Testing of new products, control systems, and electrical components *This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above* Tool/Machine/Technology Requirements: • Familiarity with CAD software • Must be familiar with electrical tools, test equipment, and PPE Job Requirements: • Competent computer and math skills • Competency in applying electrical test equipment and troubleshooting techniques • Familiarity with electrical safety requirements and regulations • Must be reasonably familiar with the applicable electrical Standards and Codes • Competency with automation / control systems and programmable devices • A working understanding of basic hydraulics preferred • See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally) • Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks in the hours provided • Must be self-motivated as much of the day is unsupervised • This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours • Must be 18 years of age or older 12/1/2017
Maintenance-Fork Truck PRODUCTION HOURS: 7-3:30 In addition to general maintenance duties, this employee will be specifically responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing company fork trucks as needed. Employee must follow a systematic process for accomplishing preventive, scheduled and emergency equipment maintenance. Employee must be knowledgeable of industrial electricity (all phases and voltages), mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic operations, troubleshooting techniques, blueprint, schematic analysis and proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment. • Forklift repair / maintenance / operation • Prioritization and Time Management Skills • General Maintenance • Blue print reading • Reading schematics • PLC • Repairing and maintenance of company vehicles • Building Maintenance/General Carpentry • Electrical / Plumbing Installation / Repair • Air compressor repair / maintenance • Dryer repair / maintenance • Machine repair / maintenance • Hydraulic equipment repair / maintenance • Crane / Hoist maintenance and repair • Welder equipment maintenance and repair • Troubleshooting is a daily process • Computer proficiency (Outlook and scheduling software) • Inventory control (counts, part numbers, cost associations, material receipts) • Must be able to use all hand tools, including pneumatic and hydraulic 12/1/17
